Acting chief of Defence HQs of the Republic of Bulgaria Rear Admiral Emil Eftimov and Clive Johnstone, Commander of NATO's Allied Maritime Command (MARCOM) discussed ways to extend further the maritime cooperation between the Bulgarian Navy and the NATO standing maritime groups at a dedicated working meeting on February 1st, 2017 in Sofia.
''The visit of Vice Admiral Clive Johnstone provided us with the excellent opportunity to discuss a number of issues related to the regional security", Rear Admiral Emil Eftimov said after the meeting.
